I arrived there 15min before the start and a young lady, definitely not Liliana, came to a meeting point around 11.05 and told me that the tour was cancelled and became a paid tour by minimum 15 USD. I was not contacted neither by email nor thru the Guru app. She added that there was not enough people however I counted minimum 6 people. It was the weirdest free tour I ever booked… I decided to keep my 15€ in my pocket and walked around in the town….
Liliana is very informative and weaves a good strory around the tour. She is good in English and makes the tour interesting.
Great history of colonial and it struggles Lili explained the timeline and the reasons for why Colonia was so important back in the 1600's and 1700s, fascinating history We went back to one of the pubs that we visited that has been there for hundreds of years and had an excellent meal as well as learned about a fantastic wine from Uruguay. tannat!
Lili is passionate for this tour. Very knowledgeable. We spent 2hrs together to get through history, geography, culture aspect of this charming city. She made my day trip unique! Highly recommend
