Even though I didn’t end up doing the exact tour described, Turqui spent practically the entire afternoon with me — on a public holiday, during Easter in Egypt — which I truly appreciated. He was incredibly kind and supportive throughout the day. He helped me with translations and even assisted me in communicating with my driver coming from Luxor, who didn’t speak English and wasn’t a guide. That made a huge difference and showed how genuinely helpful he is. I found him to be a very interesting person, with a lot of knowledge and a real passion for his city. He truly enjoys where he lives and has so much to share. I’d also love to meet his Colombian-Spanish girlfriend someday! I definitely hope to see him again, maybe when he travels to Madrid, or somewhere else in the world — whether in Luxor, Hurghada, Aswan, or beyond. Thank you so much, Turqui, for everything. Doing this tour with Torki was like visiting your Egyptian friend where they took you around and helped you figure out local logistics. If you're looking for more security, comfort and a casual tour then this is the tour for you. If you want a historical, informative tour for each site you want to visit then this may not be the tour for you as his knowledge is not very extensive. However, it was a good tour for what it was and he carried us to a party in the Nubian village in Aswan which was definitely a highlight for us. He also helped us figure out local transport and stayed with us to make sure we were safe. If you want to make friends and have a morw relaxed experience while on your trip, then book Torki.
Bola gave an excellent tour! He took us around Aswan, took us to Abu Simbel temple, Nubian Village and we swam in the Nile! He introduced me and my girlfriend to his family and we had dinner with them! Would very much recommend using him as a tour guide
I reached out to Torki looking for a local guide to organize my trip to Abu simbel. He took care of everything and made sure that I paid local prices with all transparency. Torki is not just a guide who can take you to monuments but he can be your local friend who can take you eat like a local, and if you want shop for clothes and spices don't worry he can guide you through Aswan market. FYI I speak Arabic and Egyptian with ease I wasn't obligated to take a guide but with Torki it was too easy felt like I visited a cousin.
