Hola, me llamo tío J. Soy intérprete histórico del Patrimonio del Viejo San Juan. Me apasionan las fortificaciones y las recreaciones coloniales españolas. Pensé: "¿Por qué no convertirme en guía certificado y combinar ambas cosas?". Y aquí estoy. Tengo muchas ganas de conocer gente agradable y mostrarles mi isla. ¡Vengan y acompáñenme! ¡Será una experiencia inolvidable!
Experiencia única. Recorrimos gran parte de la ciudad acompañados siempre de informacion por parte del guia. Gran dominio del tema y mucha paciencia para contestar cualquier pregunta.
The tour was so much better than expected! First off, Uncle J was kind enough to still give the tour even though it was only two of us. He knows SO MUCH and provided us with so much information! We went to a couple of castles and walked through the Main Street of Old SJ, all while he gave us history insights and recommendations of where to eat and visit. The tour was about 3.5 hrs and very thorough! If you’re in town, highly recommend!!
It was raining at the start of the tour but Uncle J did the tour anyway. He is knowledgeable and communicates in a relatable way. The route he takes is stunning. My favorite was spending time in the castle (40 minutes). If for no other reason- take the tour just to meet this wonderful tour guide!
Uncle J is certainly a unique guy! Excellent tour, super nice guy. We learned a lot. Be prepared for a lot of walking, but that is the point! No hesitation in booking.
