We had a fantastic time on Uncle J’s tour of Puerto Rico’s historic fortresses. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant, sharing fascinating stories that made history come alive. We were only in Puerto Rico for the day, and we would never have learned so much or accomplished as much on our own. There was quite a bit of walking, including some ups and downs and uneven pavement, which could be a challenge for travelers with mobility issues. We’re fit, so we enjoyed the activity- it was a great way to get some exercise while learning! Uncle J is soft-spoken, so you may want to stay close to him to catch all the interesting information he has to share. His unique outfit also made for some great photos! Overall, we’d highly recommend this tour, it’s absolutely worth it.
Unkle J took my finance and I on a spectacular tour by explaining the history of Puerto Rico and each fort as well as La Factoria!! He’s very famous among the locals and tourists so don’t be afraid to photo bomb photos of him!!! He will also take wonderful “honeymoon” photos during the tour
Wealth of knowledge. Been here 5 times but this was the best tour ever.
