I was genuinely amazed to learn the sheer scale of its importance—not just for literature, but for culture, economy, education and politics as well. On a lighter note, our guide Jeremy was also remarkably handsome, which, combined with his passion and knowledge, made the entire experience exceptionally pleasant.
