Amazing Experience with Ahmed in Luxor! My friend and I had an incredible time on the 3-hour walking tour of Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple with our guide, Ahmed! His extensive knowledge and passion for the history truly brought the sites to life. Ahmed is a fantastic storyteller, presenting information in a structured and engaging way that was easy to follow, no matter your background. He took the time to explain everything in detail, ensuring we all understood while keeping the atmosphere friendly and welcoming. I felt completely at ease with him—he was trustworthy and professional throughout the tour. Additionally, Ahmed provided clear instructions on where and how to meet, and he arrived well ahead of time, which made the whole experience seamless. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore Luxor with a knowledgeable and personable guide!
Ahmed is very friendly and professional guide. Showed us around and told the story about Egypt. We enjoy our time with him.
Contratamos el free tour para el east bank pero al final decidimos que queriamos conocer el west bank tambien. Ahmed se encargo de organizarnos un recorrido a medida. Nos explico todo con mucha claridad y fue muy atento en todo momento. Gracias Ahmed!
Ahmed super enthousiast and taught us a lot about the sites and history. He was patient and willing to answer all out questions. Thank you for a great day, Ahmed!
I booked with Ahmed two tours (two days) one week in advance, even before arriving to Luxor. I received the confirmation on both. Two days before the start of the first tour I contacted him, he confirmed but he warned of several additional (overpriced) charges not mentioned in the text of the tour description. I checked with local people who informed me some charges were not required and others were at least twice overpriced. When I reached out to Ahmed, he went unresponsive, he did not cancel the tours, so I decided to go and do the first one: East Bank and informed him I would be there. I went but he did not show up. The best part is that I got a top tour guide at Karnak Temple directly (with incredible credentials and Dr. degree) and I did not mind paying him more for the deep knowledge and great experience. After this first tour, I decided to cancel the 2nd day tour (West Bank) since Ahmed was not replying and I realized he was only concerned about charging overpriced extras. And indeed, I did the tour half the price and twice the time I would have done it with Ahmed. It was disappointing not to have a fair handling and be left stranded with uncertainty.
