Theodore gave a well thought out and entertaining tour. He got us around several crowded sites by taking us to less crowded vantage points at exactly the right time. His dry humor and "I could care less what people think" style were a hit. He took us to several spots to take the perfect touristy photos that had all of the iconic British imagery.
Igor grew up in the area and can expand on many facets of the history of the area. Good tour if you really want to understand the history and how it affected the local population. Igor gave good recommendations for those sticking around for a few days after the tour.
Ruud was knowledgeable, fun and interesting. His tour had a real "insider" feel to it and he showed us things that we would never have seen on our own. He provided historical background about many of the sites and had tons of excellent recommendations for us to further explore Amsterdam. Excellent tour!
I arrived on a cruise ship and it was cancelled due to insufficient numbers. If they contacted me earlier and told me how many they needed I'm certain that I could have found more people. The other 6 people at my dinner table had no plans and probably would have done the tour but I was not informed of the cancellation till the last minute.
