We just took the Vienna City tour with Michael. He was entertaining and informative. Brought us up to speed on the whole Hapsburg family history and impact on the country. Covered the horrific events of the Nazi devastation as well as Austrian involvement. It’s a tough subject but he covered it well. We covered quite a bit of ground, and even though there were so many on our tour, we were able to hear him for the most part. Michael also gave us his honest opinion of several popular tourist destinations and whether or not it’s worth the time to wait in the crazy long lines (it’s not) and gave us some good alternate options. We actually took his recommendation and went back to a little restaurant he pointed out as we walked by, and it was excellent. More ‘local’ cosy and good food. Thanks, Michael!
