This tour was extremely informative, explaining how Montmarte evolved, along with information often missed by a tourist, with historical pictures and songs that elevated it above your average tour. I went on a paid tour of Ile de la cite the day before and this tour of Montmarte far exceeded it in all aspects for content of information. Would definitely recommend it to others. Just be aware you will see the original Moulin Rouge and not the tourist version everyone flocks to in the evening.
Alessandro is a wonderful guide and a genuinely great person. The tour was fascinating and rich in detail, especially when it came to art and culture. It was both informative and enjoyable.
A really interesting tour in a fascinating part of Paris, led by our excellent, informative guide, Alessandro. The weather was very poor but he kept us all engaged and entertained.
