Ahmed truly made the trip memorable. He was extremely knowledgeable about Egyptian history and culture, explaining every site with clarity, enthusiasm, and a great sense of storytelling. He managed the timings very well, always making sure we understood what we were going to see next. On a personal level, he was kind, approachable, and patient with all our questions, always open to adapting to the group’s needs (photo stops, bathroom breaks, or a bit more time in places we loved). Thanks to him, we learned a lot, felt well taken care of, and were able to enjoy the experience in a relaxed and trustworthy atmosphere.
We had a fantastic experience with Ahmed on our GuruWalk tour to Saladin Castle. His historical knowledge was excellent, and he did a great job of explaining the context behind the site, not just the dates and facts. Ahmed brought the history of the Citadel to life by connecting it to the wider story of Cairo and Egypt, which made the visit far more engaging and meaningful. He was clear, passionate, and very open to questions, always happy to go deeper when asked. Highly recommended if you want a guide who truly understands the history and knows how to share it in an interesting way.
The tour was absolutely amazing! It was full of history, fascinating facts, and made even more special by Ahmed’s personal perspective and stories. I truly loved spending the day together — everything was so well organized. He took care of all the details, from Uber rides to helping me with the tickets. One of my favorite moments was when he offered me sugarcane juice and even asked for me to squeeze the sugarcane myself — something I had never done before, haha! It was such a pleasant, fun, and memorable day. I highly recommend this tour to everyone!
Thanks to Ahmed for a wonderful afternoon touring old Caïro, he gave a very good tour and was knowledgeable about a lot of things. Even other subjects we asked about and were not related to the tour. I would recommend a tour with him to anyone.
