Rafaela is a Paulista! Which she taught us means a local of Sao Paulo. She gave us a really engaging and informative tour of the city. She spoke about history, culture and landcape. She even offered us a local sweet to try. At the end of the tour, she emailed a list of recommendations for food, drinking and things to do in the city. After the tour we met some Brazilian friends, we knew more about the city then they did. So I can recommend free walking tour with Rafaela to everyone :)
Rafaela's tour felt more like being shown around by a knowledgeable old friend. She was effortlessly friendly. At every stop she asked if we had questions, and had great answers for questions about politics, social issues. She also had great recommendations and went above and beyond giving advice for relocating to Brazil questions. At the end of the tour I felt like I had already lived here for weeks.

The tour was amazing. Finding out about the downtown (historic town) of Sao Paulo was insightful and interesting. Rafaela was really enthusiastic and engaging which made the tour even better. I highly recommend this tour if you're in Sao Paulo as it's a great way to get to know some of the history of the city and see some amazing architecture
