Ahmed, our guide, loves his city; that is obvious. His tour covered a lot of territory as he took us to many of the most important sites in Casablanca. We liked that; it was a thorough introduction to the city. However, Ahmed lacks personal engagement that often makes the difference in quality of walking tours. There was no time for participants to introduce themselves, and while Ahmed provided info about each stop and answered questions, he often walked ahead of the group. Finally, we found it strange that in the market, the group waited while he downed two oysters at a stand without asking the group if there might be something they might like to try. Very strange, indeed!
Simply superb! Majd is an excellent tour guide plus he is gracious and kind. His tour takes the group to very interesting places like art galleries the old market, and the gold market. We were treated to samples of many types of delucious Jordanian specialties of falafal, desserts, fruit and nuts. And we tasted unique Middle Eastern spices. We made stops at beautiful art galleries featuring art by local artists, and the highlight of the trip was a late afternoon roof rooftop view of the Roman amphitheatre bathed in golden light. Majd also shared insights to Jordanian culture and family life. I highly recommend this tour for a delicious introduction to this wonderful city.
Excellent, Excellent! Ibrahim provided useful and interesting information about the city of Jordan, getting around, shopping here, traditional foods, and more, stopping along the way for yummy food samples. He helped us navigate the old and new markets, the gold market, and showed us easy ways to reach the citadel and the Roman Colosseum. He spoke very clear English and moved us at a steady but unhurried pace. I highly recommend this tour.
The tour is exactly as described. The entire walk will be inside the citadel where you will see very interesting architecture, and Mahmoud shares lots of historical and cultural information. Weather can be very hot- wear hat and bring water. Please note, be sure to check and conform to dress code for mosques. Otherwise women visitors will be asked to purchase or rent a scarf for hair and shoulders. Very nice tour.
This is a great tour. The 2.5 hours simy fly by! And if you are lucky enough to get John as your guide, it is the top. John has interesting stories to tell that give wonderful insight into the city of Dublin and the history of Ireland, and he speaks loud enough so all of us can hear. We saw and learned about some of the most important spots in Dublin, Do this to tour.
