The walking tour with Manon was very enjoyable. Her deep understanding of Nîmes’s history, especially the Roman period, was truly impressive. The way she spoke about the city was so eloquent and kept our interest alive throughout the entire walk. For instance, it was inspiring to see the statues taken from ancient buildings embedded in the old house walls, along with the fascinating stories connected to them. Manon’s profound knowledge of the ancient park was also very inspiring. In addition to her professionalism, she was very kind and considerate toward everyone in the group and never rushed from one place to another. I can wholeheartedly recommend Manon, an archaeologist, to anyone interested in discovering the fine details of Nîmes’s past.
Our tour with Manon was fantastic. The 2 hours flew by while we learned a lot and visited a lot of highlights and more hidden gems. We can truly recommend her tour.
Manon was a fantastic guide and taught us all about the Roman era buildings and sights in Nîmes. She was engaging and extremely knowledgeable. I love the fact she had a tablet with her to show us pictures of similar items that have been found in other Roman cities as well as some of the finds on sites she’s worked on. I 100% recommend her tour to anyone visiting this city.
