We had an amazing time with Janet. She took us to some historical places in Guangzhou and some more modern/trendy places so we could get both a tourist/local perspective on the city. We even got to ride a bike and do a bit of sightseeing which was very cool. I would strongly recommend it to anyone visiting Guangzhou!

One of the better walking tours that I have done as a solo traveller. It was a good introduction to Guangzhou and as I was the only one there, it felt more personalised and just like a casual hang out with a friend. Janet was very friendly and knowledgeable and showed great flexibility, tailoring the tour to accommodate me. I enjoyed the amount of exploring that we did and the addition of going to hidden areas that weren't listed in the original tour. She even joined me for lunch with a recommendation she had in the Beijing Road Area. Overall, this tour was a fantastic way to ease into the rhythm of Guangzhou, and I would highly recommend it to other travellers — especially those looking for a flexible, insightful, and welcoming introduction to the city.
