Getachew - Guía turístico en Adís Abeba

Had the pleasure of having Getachew show me around Addis. Great guide. Tour took 6 hours and we went everywhere. Lots of walking; local bus and taxi. A great overview of life here. I highly recommend Getachew.

Wow, this was hands down the BEST tour I’ve ever done! Getachew is seriously incredible -- he’s not just a guide, he’s a total gem. Super friendly, so welcoming, and you can just tell he genuinely loves what he does. If you’re looking for a chill, personalized experience that’s totally different from the usual crowded, touristy stuff, you’ve got to go with him. He showed us the real Ethiopia -- amazing food, hidden cultural gems, and a glimpse into everyday life that you just won’t get on a big, commercial tour. Getachew (Gaetano per gli italiani 😂) è stato veramente bravo, ci ha fatto girare tutta la città in un solo pomeriggio, dandoci spiegazioni esaurienti e piene di dettagli “locali”, rispondendo volentieri a tutte le nostre domande. Bonus: abbiamo preso vari autobus urbani insieme a lui- esperienza divertente ed interessante, che non credo avremmo fatto da soli!

Undoubtedly one of the best walking tours I have done! Getachew is very friendly, knowledgeable and flexible to adapt the schedule and itinerary to our needs. For example, I had more free time and our tour ended up being a full day tour across the city, visiting local places! He is very enthusiastic and attentive, and I was feeling safe throughout the day at all places. Most definitely recommend!!
