Hola, soy John y un aparejador jubilado, londinense y pasé toda mi vida trabajando en Londres para una gran consultora conociendo muy bien sus calles. Mientras trabajaba, comencé a investigar mis primeros recorridos para colegas, que se volvieron muy populares para vincular al equipo después de terminar el trabajo del día. Después de jubilarme, rápidamente decidí que quería continuar con mis caminatas, ya que me encanta conocer gente y compartir mi ciudad escondida con ellos, lo he estado haciendo durante aproximadamente 12 años. Me apasionan los 2000 años de historia de la ciudad, los edificios y las personas que ayudaron a hacer esa increíble historia. En mi tiempo libre, durante los meses de verano, soy un vigilante voluntario de las esclusas de los canales de Londres, lo cual es maravilloso para conocer gente. También me encanta viajar por toda Europa en vacaciones en tren y visitar otras ciudades y una manera maravillosa de ver el campo.
Absolutely amazing experience. If you're considering a walking tour, do not go with anyone other than John! He is warm, incredibly knowledgeable, and has a true British soul. My mind was completely blown — John is a born guide, effortlessly bringing the stories and history to life. His passion, humor, and depth of knowledge made this tour unforgettable. I genuinely can't recommend him highly enough. If I could give 11/10, I would!

Interesting tour, saw lots of areas I had never seen before and learnt history I was not aware of
John kept us captivated throughout the tour. His knowledge was immense and he was happy to answer any questions thrown at him. He is clearly a history enthusiast who managed to impart so many stories and info in such a short time. I would highly recommend John if you want to see the 'old London City' and it's stunning architecture. Thanks for a great tour.
