Nacido y criado en Lagos, tengo muchos recuerdos de historias contadas por varias generaciones de habitantes locales, sin mencionar sus hábitos, comportamientos y problemas culturales. Siendo un viajero de la vieja escuela y un hotelero experimentado, que ya sirvió a miles de viajeros de todo el mundo, tengo la necesidad de mostrar mi ciudad de una manera alternativa, un poco alejada de los mismos viejos tours para turistas.
Excellent guide with great knowledge and passion
Artur was very knowledgeable. He was a Lagos native and knew so much history of the city. After the tour, he sent us great suggestions and map of places to eat and things to explore. Although Lagos was the very place where the African slave trade was started, there was no mention of that time or fact or to any of the locations where it happened. As miserable and sad as it is, it would have been interesting to hear and understand why and how it originated in Lagos. Other than that omission, the historical content seemed accurate and interesting.
Excellent tour. Despite having been to Lagos several times before, we learned a lot from Artur about the town’s history, churches, houses, shops etc, along with Artur’s personal experience growing up in the town. Tour was over two hours long, and explored areas of town we had not visited before. He also sent follow up information with history and suggestions. Highly recommended.
Great tour to get to see Lagos old town and learn about the culture and history. Artur was very informative and fun to have as our guide.
