We really enjoyed Jan’s tour. He gave detailed information about Vienna history and was easy to understand. He was personable and attentive to the group. Very communicative and helpful following the tour. Would highly recommend Jan’s tour.

I felt fortunate to have Jan C as my GuruWalk guide today. I was amazed at how quickly the two and half hours went by! Despite the cold weather this morning, Having lived in Vienna since childhood, Jan has amassed a wealth of knowledge about and life experience in Vienna. And it is so cool that he has chosen to share all this wealth with curious visitors like me to this lovely city of Vienna. The sights Jan took us to are very interesting, each with a deeply historic story to tell. The places we stopped at for Jan’s stories were mostly off the beaten path, with a quiet historic ambience and stunning architecture that seemed to communicate with us in its own multidimensional language! And Jan’s descriptions at each sight/site made it all come alive, erasing centuries of time and transporting me to the times when these historic events and people existed. I won’t list or describe here each of the sights we saw, as you can read it in the description of the tour. Suffice it to say, taking this tour with Jan is worth every minute spent and every euro tipped (I truly believe it is worth much more, of course, as evidenced by similar tours sold on various other platforms for a much higher price than the usual amount paid in tips). The palpable difference between the typical touristic sights and Jan’s chosen quiet path became obvious when the tour ended … and I walked into a crowded, noisy Stephansplatz! Thank you, Jan, for doing this for the traveling community. I very much appreciate your gift of a Guided Tour of Historic Vienna.
