Activity Overview
Your adventure begins with a pickup from your Reykjavík hotel, signaling the start of an exciting day immersed in the breathtaking landscapes of Iceland.
Our journey takes us first to Lake Kleifarvatn, a tranquil gem set within a dramatic volcanic terrain. This expansive lake is bordered by steep hills and ancient lava fields, presenting an almost ethereal scenery. While you take in the sights, our knowledgeable guide will narrate intriguing tales of the area's complex geological history, illuminating aspects of Iceland’s volcanic past.
Continuing on, we will arrive at the Seltún Geothermal Area, where the Earth's energy reveals itself in magnificent forms! Here, you’ll observe bubbling mud pots, steaming geothermal vents, and vibrant mineral deposits that create a landscape reminiscent of another world. This is a unique opportunity to witness the natural forces that have been molding Iceland over the ages.
Following this, we will stop at a greenhouse in Hveragerði, offering a chance to enjoy a meal. This delightful location is famous for its sustainable practices, benefiting from geothermal energy. You will have a variety of delicious options available, prepared with ingredients sourced from the local area.
Rejuvenated and ready for further exploration, we will hike through the beautiful Reykjadalur Valley, known as "Steam Valley". As we progress along scenic trails lined with lush hills and lively geothermal features, we’ll eventually arrive at the soothing natural hot springs. Here, you can immerse yourself in the warm waters, surrounded by the pristine beauty of nature—this is a perfect respite after an invigorating hike!
As our day of exploration concludes, we will return to Reykjavík, ensuring you are safely dropped back at your hotel after approximately 8 hours of adventure.

Instrucciones
On the day of the activity, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Reykjavík at the indicated time. Please be ready to go at least 15 minutes beforehand.

We recommend bringing the following:
- A warm first layer of clothing and a waterproof second layer
- Comfortable hiking boots
- Water and snacks
- If you have hiking poles please bring them (they can also be rented on the day of the activity)
