Dia Diabh! Mi chiamo Jimmie. Sono originario di Dublino e sono un appassionato di storia irlandese, in particolare del periodo rivoluzionario.
Fantastic experience: The tour was packed with interesting facts and stories about the city’s history, culture, and hidden corners, all presented in a very engaging way. What made it truly special, though, was our guide – incredibly friendly and full of enthusiasm, he brought every stop to life with his passion and energy. It was both informative and entertaining, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dublin.
We had the pleasure of joining Jimmie’s free walking tour in Dublin, which focused on the Irish revolution and lasted about 2.5 hours. Jimmie is incredibly knowledgeable, and he brought the history to life with enthusiasm and energy that kept the whole group engaged from start to finish. He wove together stories of the revolution with broader insights into Irish culture, and even pointed out details around Dublin that most people would miss on their own. On top of that, he gave us some great local pub recommendations to check out after the tour. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to understand Dublin’s past while getting a lively, insightful walk through the city! Tips: Bring comfortable shoes Dress for multiple seasons. Umbrellas were useless in the wind. Read up a bit on the history and characters before hand to help keep the story moving or like us you'll be asking many questions as our knowledge coming into it was close to nill.
One of the best guides I've ever had. Very informative and entertaining.
We enjoyed our time with Jimmie immensely. He knows a lot about the topic and his enthusiasm is contagious. It’s a lot to take in as it is a complex topic.
Jimmy was drtailled, highly interesting and passionate about the history of the Irish guerrilla. He was very kind to us He delivered a three hour tour and showed us lots of important places, showing us pictures of historical events and personalities. He showed us the "real" Dublin, I really enjoyed his tour and I'll definitely recommend it! Thanks a million! Paola
