Lorena Barquilla, Official Tourist Guide in Plasencia and Northern Cáceres. I am Lorena Barquilla, an official tourist guide accredited in Extremadura and a tourism technician. My passion is to accompany you on a journey to discover Plasencia and northern Cáceres with historical accuracy, a personal touch, and respect for the region. I arrived in Extremadura in 2010 and since then have made this place my home and the setting for my work as a tourist guide specializing in northern Cáceres. Education and Experience: Official Tourist Guide accredited in Extremadura; Tourism Technician; Graduate in Education; Experience in cultural visits, school visits, and organized groups. My teaching background allows me to adapt my approach to different audiences without losing depth or clarity. My Approach to a Guided Tour: I don't aim to give a history lesson. My goal is for each visitor to: Understand the place; Enjoy the tour; Make the most of their time; Have an authentic experience. Each guided tour is designed to be dynamic, structured, and tailored to the group.
