Lulu was a fantastic guide. She is only 23 but she speaks perfect English and Spanish and she is very well informed about life in Egypt and across the world. She was an enthusiastic guide, taking us to so many places to taste the food, and asking what we liked so she could tailor some destinations for us. We really enjoyed our evening and meeting Lulu. I highly recommend this tour, make sure you are hungry when you start!
It could be better, it is expensive for what it offers. The guide was punctual and helpful throughout the tour. I was aware that the charge was 35 euros per person and so I expected a more varied experience, understanding that it is a cheap local food tour. We were offered a juice, an Egyptian dish with rice, pasta and chickpeas. Then, 3 courses basically limited to sandwiches and a local dessert. I believe that for the local price, it could offer more variety. Drinks were only offered to us because we asked, otherwise it seems to me that they do not offer them. Anyway, it is a tour with potential, but I would not do it again or recommend it with this route that we took.
Ahmed was a fantastic guide from start to finish! From his conversation to his knowledge of the food, Egyptian culture and Egyptian life it truly was a pleasure to join this food tour! The places visited are often frequented by locals which makes it even more authentic! Such a fabulous evening!
