My name is Arpan Kalothia. Like many of you who are reading this, I am a traveler. Although I had traveled India extensively with my family from a young age, I didn’t realize my calling to travel by profession until a few years ago. As a young man, family pressures directed me towards academia. As many of us from Indian cultural descent, pleasing my family and treating them with respect, is of the utmost importance to me. I obliged, completing my degree in finance, but somehow I felt unfulfilled. I am sure some of you can relate - I needed more.
I started working in Backpacker Hostels all across India and started getting exposure by meeting people from all across the world. I also traveled and did social work in Himalayas for 4 months before starting my own Walking Tour Company in Mumbai.
