I'm a tour guide register, I have many experiences making a city tour and I work with an agency too.
Our cruise ship docked in Rio for 2 days. Our 1st day in Rio was already planned out with another couple from the ship and couldn't back out. So for the 2nd day my husband and I decided to go with Bruna, we wished we came across her earlier. After the booking, I messaged her and told her we've visited some other popular sites and would like to visit a couple of other places. she replied promptly and had no problem with showing us the sites that I proposed, she also suggested us to ride the Santa Teresa tram, which was a great idea. Bruna met us on time at the Pier Mauă, which was easy for us. Then we walked to the Museum Of Tomorrow, she suggested where the great photo spots at and help us took some wonderful pictures. After that we got an Uber ride to the tram station and rode to Santa Teresa, round trip about an hour. After the tram ride we took another Uber ride to Copacabana Beach had lunch and walked to Ipanema Beach(we liked the vibe at this beach more). We took Bruna's suggestions and tried some cheese bread, Acai and fresh coconut water. We had an amazing experience with Bruna, she was a knowledgeable, fun and engaing guide. She speaks English well and we communicated a few times prior to our visit, which put us at ease. We also liked her idea of tour that combines walking tour with a couple of Uber rides to different area of landmarks like the Redeemer, Sugarloaf, beaches, museum, etc. Of course we paid for the 3 rides which cost less than 90 Reals. We can't speak any Portuguese, so it was great to have Bruna to translate for us. Thank you, Bruna, for being our guide!
Exploring Rio de Janeiro with Bruna was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we met at Praça Quinze de Novembro, Bruna’s enthusiasm and deep knowledge about the city’s history brought every stop to life. She made sure everyone felt welcomed and included, and her signature purple cap made it easy to spot her. We started at the historic Praça XV, where Bruna vividly narrated the stories behind the city’s first street, church, and even the residence of the Portuguese royal family. Her passion for Rio’s history shone through, making this a truly enriching experience. Next, we marveled at the majestic Arcos da Lapa, the first aqueduct in Brazil. Bruna shared fascinating details that made us see it as more than just an architectural wonder—it became a symbol of the city’s resilience and evolution. The Escadaria Selarón was a highlight, with its vibrant ceramics from around the world. Bruna’s stories about the artist and the global contributions to the steps added a personal and touching element. Of course, no trip to Rio is complete without breathtaking views, and Bruna made sure we experienced the best. At Pão de Açúcar, she guided us to the most stunning vantage points, and at Cristo Redentor, her knowledge of the statue’s history and cultural significance added a special layer of meaning to the iconic landmark. What made the experience truly exceptional was Bruna’s kindness and helpfulness even after the tour. She accompanied me to a local market and made navigating it so much easier with her translation and haggling skills. Her efforts made a world of difference, helping me find unique items at great prices and making the shopping experience stress-free and enjoyable. Bruna is not just a tour guide—she’s an ambassador of Rio’s spirit. Her friendly demeanor, engaging storytelling, and knack for making every moment memorable set her apart. If you’re looking for a guide who will make you fall in love with Rio, look no further than Bruna. Highly, highly recommended!
It was such a pleasure to meet Bruna. We had a great tour with her, receiving a lot of interesting and helpful information.
Bruna is the real 'Carioca'. She knows everything about Rio. Very kind and professional🙂
Tolle Tour! Sehr gerne wieder!
