There are 3 of us in Free Tours Riga by locals, all born in Riga when our country was still part of the Soviet Union.
We really love our city:) and are passionate about our job
being tour guides. We feel really privileged for given opportunity to meet
so many people from all around the world and pass over our knowledge, feelings, love and
passion.
We have guided tours in Riga and Latvia now for 8 years.

Even on a cold snowy February evening, Daniel showed us around the most interesting points in Riga Old City. Definitely a great opportunity to learn more about Riga as someone who has never been there before and knows nothing about the city and history.
We joined an evening winter walk in snowy Riga with Christa through GuruWalk and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Even with temperatures around minus twelve, the experience was excellent from start to finish. Christa shared impressive knowledge with a clear and pragmatic view of the complex and changeable history of Latvia, making it easy to follow and genuinely interesting. She was super friendly, jolly, and enthusiastic throughout, keeping everyone engaged and comfortable despite the freezing conditions. The delivery was lively, well paced, and interactive, with thoughtful answers to questions along the way. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an informative and enjoyable introduction to Riga, even in very cold weather.
Rita was informative and fun. There was a lot on the walk and keeping us all in the loop was no problem. It was very cold but Rita knew a couple of places indoors to give us chance to warm up. Would definitely recommend in order to learn more about Riga. 👍
