Xin chào! Welcome to Hanoi! 🇻🇳
Hi, I'm Mai, a local guide in Hanoi. We are a passionate team of local people. I love sharing stories, culture, and hidden corners that most travelers miss. I also believe travel should be meaningful and personal — not just about sightseeing, but about understanding.
With me, you won’t just visit Hanoi’s Old Quarter — you’ll walk its streets like a local, hear the legends, taste the street food, and feel the rhythm of Vietnamese life.
Whether you're a solo backpacker, a couple, or a curious explorer, you're warmly invited to join me for a few hours of discovery, smiles, and unforgettable memories.
Amazing So Nice Person Super kind Hidden places Really helpful
Tien was our guru.. He was very obliging to start the tour from our hotel. Being a native and lover of Hanoi, he gave a good historical and current overview of the city in good English. Highlights were the Dong Xuan market, numerous temples and shrines, Hoan Kiem Lake, ancient Quan Chuong Gate and St Joseph Cathedral. And for our break Tien brought us to a high floor cafe facing the Lake, introducing us to egg coffee and salted coffee. He guide and taught us how to cross and navigate safely the chaotic streets monopolised by motorbikes. 3 hours duration passed quickly, all in a worthwhile and wonderful experience. Thank you Tien from Jin (and Serena).
From the first moment we met Mai, we felt like meeting with a friend to walk around the city. She is one of the friendliest people I have ever met and she was super accommodating to adjust the route based on our needs (i.e. a 3 year old toddler who is in the mood to run around). She gave a lot of information about the city and a lot of tips about the cafes and restaurants. One of the bakeries along the route we stopped by to get some delicious delights which we would probably skip by if we were to be on our own. Thank you so much Mai for a beautiful day :) Dimitra, Guncel and Iris..
Mai was not the guide and I was alone with him so improvised and he even drove me on his motorbike in traffic
Mai is very nice and operating a nice tour to explore around. At that time. I felt sick due to going out in the sun. Hopefully there are a lot of people will join the tour. Best of luck.
