I took the tour during Ramadan and as it is a low season there was only me for the tour. And the guide did it which I appreciate a lot as in Amman I had the same situation and the guide cancelled the tour after I have wated for him for 30 min. Mohamed is fond of history and is sharing the infotmation very professional, we saw the main attractions and then he helped me with shopping and restaurants. I am grateful for his dediation.

We had a very nice tour, Mohammed is a very good story teller and knows a lot about the city and its history, but also about the history of the country. Elias and him are very complementary. They were really entertaining, they showed us the place and lots of food and market places.

Excellent tour, we explored the main historical sights of Aqaba and Thumama provided us context and history. Aqaba is an important city in the history of Islam and the Arab world so I recommend to take this tour as it’s hard to get this information otherwise.

Sehr empfehlenswert. Sehr netter, junger Mann, der mir viele interessante historische Fakten vermittelt hat und wunderschöne Plätze in Aqaba gezeigt hat. The guide cancelled the tour via WhatsApp and we agreed on another date. On the tour day when the guide was 10 minutes late, we contacted him and he promised to come in another 10 minutes. Thus, he arrived 20 minutes late and didn't even apologise. The itinerary he chose was interesting. The guide was sociable and quite knowledgeable.

Mohammed's tour was wonderful. It covered heaps of history, lovely locations and delicious food opportunities. The perfect tour to start off my time in Jordan! I highly recommend

Very punctual and friendly: he even drove me back to the hotel! We visited quite a few hidden corners, I would not have discovered by myself as a tourist. Lovely conversation, great laugh, I had fun!

This tour far surpassed my expectations. We started the tour at 630 pm and we went all around Aqaba not only trying new foods but also going to the areas where the fisherman were bringing in the catch of the day. I learnt a lot during this tour but the coolest thing was how I felt like I was with someone that everyone in Aqaba knew! It was a great experience and one of the best guruwalk tours I have done. Highly recommended it!

The tour with Mohammed was fun. He shows you the city from the perspective of a local with stories from his childhood or even from his parents. The places are very interesting and be prepared to try a lot of different food. I definitely can recommend this tour.

I spent a privileged time with Thumama which I feel really thankful for. Aqaba is an interesting city with an unsuspected History with a big H related to how ancient the beginning of its timeline is. Thumama led me through the city to many places to visit. Everytime he took time to explain the context, to present the place and describe how it’s now part of the current life. Last but not the least, I’d like to highlight the social skills of this guide who shares generously his knowledge and asks about you with everytime a good sense of humor and a real kindness. I highly recommend Thumama :)

one of the best guru guide. informative and cares for tourist. it was super hot in aqaba and we continue the tour in the evening. we tasted some of his fave. hibiscus cold tea is the best! highly recommended that you book his tour.
