I did the tour alone with Berakah, which was really nice because he tailored specifically to me and my interests. I was able to ask questions and get specific feedback that you can't find online or in books. Walking with someone who lives in the city and knows the city is my favorite way to discover a new place.

Very good guide, interesting information, and appropriate timing and pace. Never felted rushed, and he took the time to stop at appropriate places in the market to explain us some stuff. I recommend for those who want a good introduction to Swahili, Tanzanian culture and the town of Arusha !

Riloy was the best! He was more than able to answer my many questions, he helped me negotiate at the market, and every other place he recommended was excellent!

Tour a piedi gratuito di Arusha – Mercati, Cultura e Stile di Vita

I had a wonderful time on Riloy’s tour of Arusha. He was incredibly knowledgeable about Tanzania’s history, culture, and everyday life—and he managed to make all of it genuinely entertaining. He took us to the Cultural Heritage Museum and Gallery and the Central Market, where we met vendors and learned about everything from traditional herbal medicine to the precursor of the modern toothbrush. I’ll admit I hadn’t done nearly enough research before arriving in Tanzania, so this tour was the perfect introduction to the city—and much more informative than simply wandering around pretending I knew where I was going. The pacing was excellent, giving us plenty of time to explore the museum, browse the shops, and enjoy each stop without ever feeling rushed. Riloy was engaging, personable, and 3 hours went by very quickly. I highly recommend Riloy to anyone looking for a memorable tour of Arusha!

Riloy was an absolute gem of a guide on our 3-hour walking tour of Arusha! As a local from one of the area's tribes, he brought such a warm, authentic energy to the experience, making what is a pretty small town feel completely vibrant, history-packed, and super fun. He was amazingly attentive to our group the whole time—always keeping an eye on our pace, answering every random question with genuine kindness, and giving us great practical tips for getting around. If you want a tour that feels like exploring a city with a incredibly knowledgeable, polite, and helpful local friend who truly cares about your experience, Riloy is your guy! Thank you 🙏

If you are looking for a good way to explore Arusha, you should definitely do this with Honest! He is a very nice and social guy, his English is very good and he knows a lot about Arusha and its surroundings. During the tour he can adapt his program and the places you visit so it fits your interests. We even went to a local place to eat some food together after the tour and he helped me with booking another tour to lake Duluti for a reasonable price. I would for sure recommend him to other people. Thank you for the nice time in Arusha!

Before the tour, Riloy asked if we preferred hotel pickup or the meeting point. We chose hotel pickup, and everything was well organized and very professional. The tour was amazing, and my favorite stop was the Tanzanite Experience. I even bought a tanzanite gemstone as a special memory of Tanzania. When I come back to Tanzania, I will definitely book this tour again. Thank you, my friend, Riloy! Highly recommended.
