Jess was an excellent tour guide. Very knowledgeable and touched on different aspects of the cities history as well as modern day life as well.

We spent a wonderful two hours listening to the colourful and rich history of Belfast. Sharing stories and personal anecdotes Michael helped us to understand life in Belfast both in the past and today. We highly this tour.

The tour with Michael was an absolute highlight of our stay in Belfast. We visited key historical sites and Michael's insights into the current political situation in Belfast were very informative. The spontaneous end in ‘the deer's head’ for the ukulele jam was awesome! 100 points for Michael :)

The tour with Micheal was our first activity after arriving in Belfast. Highly recommended to get a good overview and impression of the city. Micheal made the tour interesting and entertaining, was open to questions and the conversations with him were very nice. At the end of the tour, Micheal showed us a wonderful pub where we spent the evening. The tour with Micheal is highly recommended!

Michael’s tour was the best Guru walk tour I’ve ever done. It was informative, entertaining and lots of fun. Not only did Michael impart his knowledge of growing up in Belfast but he took time to get to know everyone in the group and we discussed differences and similarities between our countries. We ended the tour at The Deer’s Head and were entertained by the Belfast Ukulele club, great fun and memories made. Thank you Michael.

Michael was a fantastic tour guide! His energy and charisma made the tour so enjoyable. I brought my cousins from the States on the tour and they had a great time too. I lived in Belfast for > 5 years and still learnt so much from the tour. Michael’s very knowledgeable about Belfast and you can tell he’s got a lot of love for his hometown. Jess is a great guide! She is friendly and professional and has great stories that allowed us to learn a little more about this city. Belfast is not a glamorous place that immediately grabs you, but Jess took us places and showed us things that allowed us to look behind the curtain and understand how the town ticks. Highly recommended.

It was great to spend a few hours with a young guy who is so passionate and knowledgeable about his home town. If he didn't know the answer to any of our millions of questions he made sure he found out. We were surprised to hear he has been giving this tour for such a short time! It was a good mix of history and personal experience. He also went out of his way to help us find good pubs with live music and joined us for a couple of drinks after the tour which was great! We would highly recommend Michael's tour.

La mejor manera de conocer la ciudad. Nuestro guía Andrés, carismático, simpático, cercano y muy profesional, hizo que el tiempo pasara volando, que conociéramos los lugares destacados de la ciudad con su relato detallado, fiel y a la vez ameno. Hacer el free tour con Alegría en Belfast fue un acierto total. Es divertida, súper profesional y se nota que le encanta lo que hace. La historia de Belfast no es fácil de contar, pero Alegría lo hace desde una postura neutral, con mucho respeto y claridad, ayudándote a entender bien qué pasó sin caer en dramatismos ni polémicas. Da muchísima información sin hacerlo pesado, al contrario, el tour se pasa volando porque lo hace muy ameno y entretenido. Aprendí, me reí y terminé con ganas de seguir explorando la ciudad. Si vas a Belfast, no lo dudes: ¡haz el tour con Alegría!

A very knowledgeable guide. Have some great background and history about the city as well as the various historical events and conflicts in Belfast. Sadly, the guide speaks at a very low volume and doesn’t check to make sure his microphone is working. I missed about 50% of his commentary.
