If you are visiting Belfast, booking a walking tour with Spirit of Belfast through Guru Walk is an absolute must! And if you’re lucky enough to have Charlie as your guide you will not be disappointed. From the moment we met, Charlie brought the city's rich history, complex past, and vibrant present to life with incredible passion, deep local insight, and a fantastic sense of humor. He even offered his umbrella to use as it rained almost the whole time - we still had a fantastic time exploring Belfast - honestly, the rain definitely added to our authentic experience. (still can’t believe & shocked that he received a poor review cause it rained-as if he has any control of the weather…) Charlie struck the perfect balance between historical depth and engaging storytelling, walking us through key landmarks and beautiful murals while sharing fascinating context that you simply won't find in a guidebook. Can’t get any better than having a local showing you around, Charlie made every story personal and real, making the history resonate deeply. Whether you are a first-time visitor or looking to uncover a new perspective on the city, Charlie is a phenomenal guide. An excellent walking tour. Charlie, our guide, was superb, his knowledge of the history of Belfast and Ireland was outstanding. We saw lots of places we would have missed if we had wandered around by ourselves. Thoroughly recommended.

Charlie was just great. He had quite a challenge as the music festival was going on all around us. He kept the group together through loads of people going every which where. He managed to give information to us despite distractions and background noise. Very enjoyable!!
