The tour was lovely, we got deep in Moldova's old and recent history, we received lots of tips of where to go, eat and drink. The tour guide was very friendly and considerate, it was a great two hours with him and we highly recommend him!

I can honestly say that Evgheni is the best guide I ever met during all my travels. And I travelled a lot, in many different countries. First of all, Evgheni wins you with his charisma and very friendly personality. From the first minutes you have feeling that you are not with a guide, but with an old friend who you know for many years. Very quickly all group start to talk, joke and feel comfortable together. I first did a tour of Chisinau with Evgheni and I was so impressed that next day I booked another tour with him to Old Orhei and monasteries. Later I also went with him to Transnistria. And every time I was impressed by his approach and by how much he knows about Moldova. He has a huge knowledge about history of Moldova and Chisinau, but he never makes it boring. No long lectures with hundreds of names and dates which you forget after 5 minutes. He tells everything in a very interesting and easy way, with funny stories, unexpected facts and jokes. You learn a lot, but you don’t even notice how much information you get. Another thing I really liked is that Evgheni gives you a lot of useful insights and tips about Chisinau. He knows many hidden gems - places where you can go for good food, have a drink, listen to music or even go dancing. These are not just typical tourist recommendations, but places you probably would never find by yourself. He also really involves everybody in the group. People who didn’t know each other at the beginning are already talking and laughing together during the tour. And the ending of the Chisinau tour is something really special. It finishes in a wine shop, where you can taste Moldovan wines, buy a glass of your favourite one and sit together with the group. You discuss the tour, some stories, Moldova, travelling and just enjoy the moment. By the end, you don’t feel like the tour is finished. You feel that you spent a day with good friends. I really recommend Evgheni if you are visiting Moldova. And don’t do only Chisinau - his tours outside the city are also really worth it. Thank you Evgheni for all the great experiences! I will definitely come back for another tour 😊

Anastasia was not only highly knowledgeable about Moldova and Chișinău, but also about Romania and the other countries involved in Moldova’s history. She complemented the historical facts with funny anecdotes about some of the city’s most distinctive places. The tour was captivating from beginning to end—I barely noticed the time passing. I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

We had a great walking tour with Evgheni! Despite our last-minute booking, he happily accommodated us and met us at 7 p.m. after finishing a wine cellar tour. He's knowledgeable, soft-spoken, and made the experience feel like exploring Chișinău with a friend. His self-made visual guide was especially helpful for understanding local culture and even ordering food. We also loved the fun Eurovision recommendations he shared along the way!

We really enjoyed out your with Anastasia and her adorable dog. She is clearly very passionate about her city, Chisinau, so it was a privilege to hear her extensive knowledge on it. She also shared lots of tips and even a list of further recommendations via WhatsApp afterwards. She was very approachable and happy to answer questions, and also gave us lots of tips for other things to see throughout the country - I hope to come back and go hiking based on her recommendations!

Perfect tour to get introduced to the city without losing a day. I went on this tour right after arriving in the airport and dropping off my bag at the hotel. Evgheni is an excellent guide: professional, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. He speaks excellent English and Russian and was able to answer every question we had in detail. His knowledge of Moldovan history is impressive, and he explains it in a clear and engaging way. A particularly nice touch is that he brings an iPad with historic photographs, so you can actually see how different places looked in the past while standing there today. It makes the history much more vivid and interesting. I enjoyed the walking tour so much that afterward i booked another tour with Evgheni to Old Orhei, Curchi Monastery, and Cricova. Highly recommended.
