Raccontare le storie della resistenza francese durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale è per me una vera passione. Digione fu un'importante capitale amministrativa regionale durante l'occupazione tedesca e alcuni cittadini digionesi furono tra i primi a impegnarsi nella "resistenza francese" a livello nazionale. C'è dramma (e tragedia) in ogni strada! Ogni evento e personaggio di cui parliamo è stato accuratamente studiato e la storia dell'occupazione, della resistenza e della liberazione si snoderà attraverso le tappe del nostro free walking tour attraverso la splendida città di Digione. Dalla "debacle" della catastrofica sconfitta del 1940, ai pionieri e allo sviluppo della resistenza, fino alla liberazione dopo 4 lunghi anni di occupazione tedesca. I veterani insistono sempre sul fatto che queste storie debbano essere tramandate!
We had a very interesting and engaging experience on this tour in Dijon. The introductory overview was especially helpful for those of us who weren’t fully familiar with the different stages of the war and the development of the French Resistance. The personal stories were the most moving part. Timo shared them with great care and empathy, which made them truly impactful and memorable. This is a very detailed and specialized tour, and we really appreciated Timo’s generosity and depth of knowledge. Highly recommended!

Tim gave an extremely informative and, at times, moving account of wartime Dijon and the French resistance. The tour was relaxed, the pace was easy and I found it to be very interesting.
