Highly recommend this tour if you want a real impression of the city by a local. The guide knew a lot of people around town which contributed to the overall close and personal feeling of the whole tour. Not only did we learn about the history and growing of Puerto de la Cruz, but also how the canary islands formed and were populated by different cultures. In addition you get a few tips about what to do during your stay after the tour. The guide is also happy to answer any question you have regarding your stay, even if it's not directly related to the tour.
Maria is a local lady and shared her knowledge with the 5 of us on today’s tour. She explained aspects of the history, trade and culture both new and old and clearly enjoyed telling us about this. We asked questions and she gave answers and I learnt a lot about Puerto de la Cruz. Of course this tour has set me up to return to explore various places she showed us. THANK YOU MARIA ☀️
Maria was amazing. Very approchable and fun to be around. Great route. We also got inside some building. You can ask maria for sone advice and she will give some great recommendation. Highly recommend
