Firstly, I did not expect the Vasa Museet to be all about ONE spectacular Boat. This was beyond AMAZING. But what a treat to have THIS Guide, and for just two people. I believe Juris and I worked our Guide harder than a party of twenty. To think we could just have gone to this Museum and spent an hour randomly walking around without any clue what we were looking at. Our Guide brought this Boat ALIVE in magical ways. We understood just how magnificent this boat was, in all its technical and HUMAN aspects. We bombarded our Guide with a thousand questions, not always about the boat, but about Sweden and more general tourist interests. True patience from our Guide, who held out for much longer that a Group Tour would have required. Sorry to have tired you out and tested your knowledge too much. We can thoroughly recommend THIS Guide, but to pay respect to his abilities you should have more just a casual 30-minute interest in this Boat. However, to visit this Boat WITHOUT his guidance would leave you short on the price of your admission ticket. Truly a remarkable guided tour from one of the best Guides we have come across. A brilliant last thing to visit on our whistlestop tour of Stockholm. Thank You.
