We had such a great time on our walking tour with Mario! He made history fun and was so knowledgeable and shared so many interesting facts and stories. Even though it was raining, he managed to keep it fun and made sure we had a great time. We’d definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting

He met us at a convenient location and immediately began sharing fascinating insights about the area’s history, architecture, and culture. His explanations were engaging and easy to follow, giving us a deeper appreciation of the city beyond what any guidebook could offer. Throughout the tour, Mario took us to several hidden gems that we never would have discovered on our own — from charming alleyways and viewpoints to local spots rich with stories. His knowledge and passion for the city really shone through, and it made every stop memorable. Mario was also incredibly friendly and attentive. He made sure we felt comfortable and involved, and even helped us take great photos at the most picturesque locations — something we truly appreciated. The whole experience felt personal, informative, and fun. It was the perfect mix of sightseeing, storytelling, and cultural immersion. I would highly recommend Mario to anyone visiting the city who wants to see both the highlights and the hidden treasures, guided by someone who genuinely loves sharing his hometown. Šetnja kroz Dubrovnik s ovim vodičem bila je pravo putovanje kroz vrijeme, ali ispričano na duhovit i šarmantan način da nam ni sekunde nije bilo dosadno. Svaka anegdota zvučala je kao mala predstava, a grad je kroz njegove priče postao još življi i posebniji. Osim što je tura bila sadržajna i poučna, bila je i zabavna do te mjere da smo se stalno smijali. Ako želite vodiča koji će vas naučiti, nasmijati i osvojiti svojom simpatičnošću – to je to! :)

Mario je stvarno top vodič! 😊 Šetnja s njim prošla je u trenu jer sve objašnjava na jednostavan i zabavan način. Puno zna o gradu, ali uz to ubacuje i zanimljive anegdote koje ne možeš pronaći na internetu. Atmosfera je bila baš opuštena, svi smo se osjećali kao da smo na điru s prijateljem, a ne na “službenoj turi”. Dali smo mu hrpu pitanja i na sve je odgovorio sa strpljenjem i osmijehom. Definitivno bih preporučio svakome tko želi doživjeti grad na poseban i lagan način.

I couldn’t recommend this tour more: we covered so many beautiful spots in Dubrovnik and I couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Mario did an expertise job of tailoring the tour to my interests as well as accommodating my pacing needs throughout. As an American with a deep interest but limited understanding of the history of Croatia and the Homeland War, I found myself enthralled by Mario’s expertise on these subjects. Not only did he explain the war in an easy to understand way, but he personalized the tour by welcoming and encouraging questions to help support my understanding of these often very complicated subjects. The tour overall was very engaging and one that is a must-do to fully appreciate the beauty and pride within Dubrovnik! I loved it so much that when I go back, I’ll have to do it again!
