La cosa più sorprendente è che questa enorme città internazionale era un piccolo villaggio di pescatori solo 40 anni fa. Ora è piena di aziende tecnologiche di fama mondiale e ha così tante storie interessanti da condividere con voi. Non preoccupatevi di tour fissi o noiosi! Posso creare un tour speciale solo per voi. Che vi piacciano gli edifici moderni, le storie sulla tecnologia o la vita locale, posso realizzarlo. Esploriamo insieme Shenzhen in modo rilassante e divertente!
Insightful and exciting tour; Lan was generous with her knowledge of the history of the city and buildings. We walked around the park to understand the history of the buildings and the high tech infrastructure with drone delivery, autonomous ride and robotic coffee. We also visited many other landmarks like the eye of shenzhen and the electronics town. Very exciting tour and well recommended!
Lan was a great guide for us, super pre tour communication, very knowledgeable, took us on a very nice route and even when our payment did not work for a drink she assisted us. I would definitely recommend Lan for future visitors to experience wonderful Shenzhen.
I had the pleasure of taking Lan’s tour in early April 2026. Before my trip, I had been researching tech-focused tours in Shenzhen, which proved surprisingly difficult as most required a minimum number of participants and I was travelling solo. I was excited to come across Lan’s tour on GuruWalk and signed up immediately. The experience was a highlight of my time in Shenzhen. Some highlights included riding in a driverless taxi, seeing drone delivery in action, walking through Shenzhen Talent Park and learning about everyday life in one of China. It was a great mix of innovation, urban exploration and local context. Lan is a wonderful guide. She is thoughtful, professional and engaging, with a great sense of humour. She is also very organized and communicates clearly in English, which made everything easy to follow. Since I was the only participant that day, the experience felt personalized and relaxed, like exploring the city with a knowledgeable local friend, while still being well-structured and professional throughout. What stood out most was her ability to go beyond the tour itself. With limited time in Shenzhen, I would not have been able to see or understand nearly as much on my own. She also helped me find and book a fantastic hot pot restaurant and secure a ticket to a robot show, which really enhanced my visit. I especially appreciated her local perspective and depth of knowledge about Shenzhen’s development and daily life. This tour strikes a great balance between showcasing cutting-edge technology and providing meaningful cultural context. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Shenzhen, especially solo travellers. It is a unique and well-curated experience, and Lan is a guide who clearly cares about what she does.
Lan is an excellent guide. She knew her materials and showed us all the things stated in the itinerary. She was very friendly and took time to give us tips on other places of interest to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 1/2 hrs with her. Highly recommend this tour with Lan.
