Ciao cari viaggiatori, mi chiamo Oscar, sono una guida turistica nazionale qui a Quito, in Ecuador. I was quite disappointed as the “guru” cancelled the tour as I was the only one who signed up. He did offer me to join another of his tours, but as it was a totally different tour (I was going for the culinary walk, and he offered me a historical tour), I rejected the offer. I guess a single person would not tip enough to make it worth his while… so ultimately it is all about money!
Oscar and Stefanie were the best guru guides ever! They were very knowledgeable about the colonial city, the churches, the architecture and food. The tour was interesting and fun! Highly recommend them.
Oscar was a fantastic guide on this tour. Make sure you have plenty of room for some of the delicious food you will try on the way!
