Titolare di una laurea in Lingua e Letteratura inglese, ho avuto molte esperienze professionali nel settore del turismo prima di ottenere la certificazione come guida turistica ufficiale dal Ministero del Turismo tunisino nel 2011. Negli ultimi dieci anni, le mie attività freelance mi hanno portato da un'affascinante esperienza a quella successiva: dal lavoro come traduttore e guida all'ospitare ospiti ufficiali come parlamentari stranieri e leader aziendali. Ho un'ottima conoscenza della storia e della cultura del Mediterraneo, ma soprattutto eccezionali capacità comunicative e un piacere nel condividere le mie conoscenze e la mia passione per la storia. Le mie aree di competenza includono storia culturale, arte, architettura, archeologia, arti culinarie e fotografia. Parlo inglese, francese, italiano e arabo. Porto gli ospiti in quartieri da scoprire, aree storiche, strade, ristoranti e li porto con me in una caccia al tesoro di cibo locale, arte e musica a Tunisi. Sono un amante della Tunisia, ho il desiderio di saperne di più sulla nostra storia, sulla nostra cultura, sulla nostra lingua, sulle nostre arti e soprattutto sul nostro cibo. Sono così felice di condividere questo desiderio con gli altri .. «siamo creati diversi per saperne di più».
Ahmed war sehr freundlich und offen und ist auch sehr nett mit unserem 4 jährigen Sohn umgegangen. Der spricht nur Deutsch, ist aber nach einiger Zeit problemlos und vertrauensvoll mit Ahmed zusammen rumgelaufen. Ahmed hat viel zu geschichtlichen Fakten und Zusammenhängen erzählt. Dies war an vielen Stellen mehr als wir erwartet hatten, an anderen hätte es gerne noch etwas tiefgehender sein können. Ahmed spricht unserem Empfinden nach (wir sind Deutsche) gutes und verständliches Englisch. Vielleicht wäre es noch eine Idee, einzelne, spezielle Geschäfte zu besuchen (ohne dort in Verkaufsgespräche verwickelt zu werden, einfach zum Schauen). Die Länge der Tour insgesamt ist unseres Erachtens angemessen und endet sehr schön über den Dächern Tunis'. Freundlicherweise konnten wir die Tour eine halbe Stunde früher beginnen als ausgeschrieben (was Ahmed mit den anderen Teilnehmern koordiniert hat), da wir mit dem Zug aus Hammamet anreisen wollten und sonst sehr viel Leerlauf gehabt hätten. Ahmed freut sich über Trinkgeld in Euro (statt in Dinar). Wir empfehlen Ahmed gerne weiter!
We confirmed with Ahmed several times to make sure our group of 6 people would be able to enjoy the experience. We also called Ahmed after waiting for him and he answered but when we told him who we were he hung up. Not a good way to represent Guru walks for sure.
Great walking tour with Ahmed
We loved our time with Ahmed and highly recommend this tour to anyone coming to Tunis! He provided lots of interesting background information on sights, the Tunisian history and culture and showed us so many spots we never would have seen without him!
