Paola was an outstanding guide during our tour of Shkodër. She explained every point of interest in a lively and engaging way, making the city's history come alive. It was clear that she had done extensive research on each location we visited. Without her, we would have walked past many places without understanding their significance. What made the tour especially memorable was the way she incorporated stories about well-known local figures and historical events connected to each site. These personal anecdotes added depth and character to the experience and made the history much easier to relate to and remember. Paola did an excellent job! She showed us the most interesting parts of the city center and told us lots about the history and the Albanian people in general and in North Albania & Shkodra in particular. I really enjoyed the tour!
This was one of the best walking tours I’ve ever done. Paola was very very knowledgable and highly engaging. She really brought the whole city/ country to life and came away full of appreciation and and admiration for Albania and in particular Skhoder.
