Jerard made us wait for an hour telling us he was in traffic. Over one hour later a different man arrived and said he was Jerard but he was not. We were very frustrated by this experience and did not get to take the tour.
Jerard is an exceptional guide with an insider's knowledge of Addis. His connection with the locals in the Merkato allowed us to visit incredible spots I wouldn't have found alone. His superb English and keen eye for photography were a major advantage. He showed me perfect spots for filming, including a stunning hidden terrace overlooking the market.
