He is very good at information and time management for us to see the train street on time due to the crowded of the people.
I’ve joined a few guided tours since arriving in Vietnam this week, and this one in Hanoi honestly stood out. Our guide, Thien, explained the history of the places we visited in a very clear and engaging way, which I really appreciated because sometimes it can be hard to follow guides due to accent differences. With him, everything was easy to understand and very interesting. He’s also surprisingly great at photography. He knew the exact spots and angles around Hanoi for photos and was very patient helping us capture nice shots along the way. The whole walk felt relaxed and informative If you want to explore Hanoi while actually understanding the stories behind the places, and get great photos too, I’d definitely recommend booking this tour with Thien.
Very nice guide
My wife and I arrived in Hanoi and saw first-hand how busy and bustling the city really can be. It felt a little overwhelming to know where to start. Taking the walking tour with Thien was the answer! T was basically like a friend showing you around his home town. We talked about history, current events, culture and customs, and even how to successfully negotiate prices at the market (he'll even do it for you if you like!). And, if you're into photography, like me, you'll really have tons of opportunities during the tour. A stop at a unique coffee shop was fun, and T took quite a few photos of us along the way. Ending at Train Street was great because he showed us to the less busy section of the tracks. Train Street can be seen as super touristy, but we certainly wanted to do it as a fun finish to our 3-hour tour. Catch up with Thien when you're in Hanoi. You'll have a good time.
I have seen some of hanoi before but I really enjoyed hearing about history of why hanoi runs and the reason they wanted to get away from western influence. It was also refreshing to hear English so well spoken that it was lost on me.
