I had a great tour with Derick, which ended up being a private tour. We were also chatting about different things along the way, which I enjoyed. He knew something about every building or site I was pointing out.

Derick was an amazing tour guide. Even when I was the only one signed up for the tour, he showed up very much on time and prepared to talk about his experiences in Dar es Salaam as well as the history of the beautiful city. A highlight was seeing (and !smelling! and tasting) the fish market.

Derick did awesome! Very professional guide, taught me a lot about the history and heritage off Dar, Tanzania and Africa. Also found some art for me, let me taste the fish market as a local and guided me to the one best sightseeing spots of the city. Very recommendable
