Mahmadjon is an excellent tour guide! First off, his English is fantastic and he keeps up to date on current events so our conversations aren't just limited to the tour's subject material. Second, he is an excellent driver and his vehicles are very clean. Lastly, please also inquire with him about his other tours to Iskanderkul and Romit Valley! They are not all listed on Guruwalk and we went to Romit Valley. It's a day trip into a river valley known for it's delicious trout. We did some light hiking and then had a late lunch of grilled trout. I strongly recommend this tour if you don't have the time to go to into the Pamirs.
Dedicated, informative, and diligent, he was also an extremely safe driver who went above and beyond—even going out of his way to say hello when we were on another tour. He books up quickly, so be prepared to reserve in advance. The tour was amazing and not to be missed.

We had a great hissor fort tour with Mahmadjon...the ride was comfortable, he spoke fluent english and was the best story teller...we had such lovely interactions with him.on the tour...would surely recommend this tour if you come across this listing...he is always willing to help even beyond this tour.
