Ho vissuto e viaggiato per molti anni della mia vita in oltre 50 paesi, ma chiamo Ponta Delgada la mia casa e nutro un affetto immenso per questo posto. Mi piace trascorrere il mio tempo in mare, essendomi formato come istruttore subacqueo e avendo realizzato video subacquei, ma sono felice qui di fare immersioni gratuite a livello locale ogni giorno. Sono ansioso di condividere la mia prospettiva su quella che considero una delle esperienze più vicine al paradiso che abbia mai vissuto qui alle Azzorre. Credo anche che siamo qui per connetterci con gli altri, quindi mi piace incontrare altre persone che credono nella stessa cosa.
Dominic was fabulous. He iis very knowledgeable about Ponta Delgada and the Sao Miguel, and provided a wealth on information on our tour. I especially liked how he sometimes shared that there is more than one "story" regarding a place or date (i.e. the official story is XYZ, but locals say it is ABC). And that he continues to research and gather more information about that topic. Dominic spoke clearly, and was easy to understand. The length, route and pace of our tour felt about right. We took the tour on our last day on the island. Earlier in the week would have been much better and more helpful to me/us. I would highly recommend taking the tour on the 1st or 2nd day of your visit, if possible. I highly recommend Dominic :-)
Dominic is an energetic speaker who is easy to understand which ensures that you remained interested in his tour while waking through the heat of Ponta Dalgado. The English tours seem less popular here - the hike ended up being just me, my wife, and Dominic. Very enjoyable way to spend the morning.
Loved our neat walking tour of Ponta Delgada today. Our family of four was lucky enough to enjoy a private tour this morning. Dominic was so knowledgeable and exuberant, his passion for this city was palpable. Honestly, the two hours flew by! We all enjoyed the tour; me, hubs and two boys (18 & 21). Would highly recommend this tour!
