Salma - Guida turistica a Amman

Salma is the loveliest tour guide, very accommodating and just what I was looking for, to start off my trip in the best way!

Salma is an Outstanding tour guide ! I would give her seven stars if the system allowed it ! The walking tour is very different than the ones available in Amman . It’s like a cultural immersion and cultural exchange and introduction of the city from the viewpoint of a highly educated young women with her perspective about the society challenges Jordanian women faces . How they are leaving day to day life where men have all the say but interestingly how they still try to find simple pleasures in life . Their hangouts along the Salma also took us through the hidden jems of Amman which are not included in any other walking tour ! We walked through places where local artist and crafts makers display and sell their products , where bohemian and hipsters hang out , Salma s strip is lot of walking and she did not made us walk up and downhill but we used many stairs instead to go up and down the hill where tourists never venture out . Interestingly these are few of the places where young couples hangout for dating ! Along the way she took us to souqs , different art galley a former palace , coffee shop . Salma also took us to some excellent viewpoint for photogenic pictures of Amman ! On the day of the trip it was raining very badly most the tourist abandoned the tour it was just me and another lady from USA did the tour . Salma did not cancel the tour she was there in time and very down to earth educated cultured women with excellent English very easy to chat with and helpful and easy going ! I have done many walking in my travels this one was exceptional on a rainy day with totally different theme which I enjoyed very much ! It would call this your off the beaten track through the eyes of a Young Jordanian women in a society where men’s decide everything ! I would highly recommend fellow travellers to try her walking tour to experience Amman as well as women’s perspective and along the way see the highlights of Amman . My favourite spot was Rainbow street ! I wish Salma much success in her real life career as well as her different theme tour guide works ! Thank you Salma for a memorable walk !

I really enjoyed too much the walking tour because Salma is a girl that answers whatever you ask without prejudices and she will tell you that she think. That is the plus she has over other usual guide! She has pasion for this job and enjoy like you every place that she shows you. Thank you Salma

Salma fue muy amable, aunque tuvimos un problema con internet y nos retrasamos ella nos esperó. El tour fue entretenido, pero lo que más me gustó fue conocer la otra cara de la realidad de la cultura Jordana. Muy recomendable
