Manish - Guida turistica a Udaipur

If you’re in Udaipur, don’t look any further — this is the best tour you can do. In fact, it’s probably one of the best tours we’ve done in all of India. Manish is an incredible person. He is always smiling and has a very calming, peaceful energy in everything he does. You can truly tell he loves his job, and that’s always a great sign. Almost every shop we passed told us, “Oh, you’re with Manish? He’s a very good guide and a very good person.” And we can completely confirm that. He never rushed us at all and had so much patience. We ended up talking a lot, and what was supposed to be a two-hour tour turned into almost three and a half hours! But we had such a great time, sharing stories and learning about each other’s cultures. What makes his tour really special is that he doesn’t take you through the typical tourist areas. Instead, you walk through local neighborhoods, which makes you feel like you’re truly experiencing the city as a local. It’s also the perfect mix of walking, taking breaks for a delicious chai, and trying street food at places where you know the hygiene is good and the food is safe to eat. He also gives you plenty of time to take photos, enjoy the atmosphere, and really soak in the culture and the moment. Honestly, it has been one of the best — if not the best — tours we’ve done in India. The variety, the cultural insights, and the amount of knowledge Manish shares are incredible. He answered every question we had. On top of that, he makes lots of jokes and is a very funny and dedicated guide. So don’t think twice — book the tour with Manish. You won’t regret it!

I highly recommend this tour of Udaipur with Manish. It was definitely a highlight of our trip to India. We visited local areas we wouldn’t know to visit, and Manish was a fantastic tour guide - really interesting and knowledgeable and every turn of the walk had something fascinating to see and experience. We have done quite a few tours and walks in India now, but this one with Manish was by far the best.

The tour with Manish was very good. After visiting the temple we walked through the the residential part of old town. Afterwards we visited the produce market and the spice market. He shared many interesting facts about Udaipur, its culture and traditions. He also bought us snacks and masala chai. Highly recommended!
