Welcome to the city of the Lakes 'Udaipur'. I have been providing the city sightseeing and unique tour experience in udaipur since 2013. My efforts are always to give an amazing experience to the people who want to experience the Indian culture and hospitality.
Manish took us on a wonderful tour of the old city! He is super professional and gave us an incredible insiders look into local culture, brought us to many places we wouldnt have found on our own, and I especially appreciated that he encouraged our interaction with the locals and artisans (in a very responsible and ethical manner- and without any feeling of expectation or pressure to buy anything!!). He explained about many aspects that I wouldnt have thought to ask about, but also answered any of our questions that we did ask. He also gave important historical context but without overloading on too much information, and i also appreciated the architecture explanations (Manish went beyond just naming a specific style (as previous guides have done) and instead pointed out different specific elements each time, which was fascinating and perfect). He also speaks wonderful English and I felt comfortable communicating with Manish easily. Lastly he showed us great spots to eat and gave us practical tips- a wonderful introduction to the city! We were a small group and in my opinion this also allowed for a great tour as well Thanks Manish!
Manish is an amazing guide! He is super kind and knowledgeable and gives a very interesting tour of Udaipur. Can absolutely recommend him & his tour if you want to get to know some background information about Udaipur.
We loved our tour through Udaipur with Manish! He told us the history of the city's neighborhoods and introduced us to the local cuisine, letting us try foods such as Masala Chai and Gulab Jamun. It was great touring the city like a local for a few hours!
Manish was an excellent guide - he was knowledgeable, informative & professional & answered our many questions in depth. The tour was really interesting & we also tried some of the local specialties. We’ve been on several walking tours & Manish is the best by far - highly recommend!
I found the tour very interesting and informative,so much knowledge of local customs and the people who live in the old town. Very nice to stop and chat over some chi tea ( in clay pots !) and snacks freshly cooked .Also very refreshing not to be taken anywhere where there was an expectation to buy local produce . The Temple visit was also very interesting . I would recommend this tour if you want an authentic view of local life in the wonderful city of Udaipur.
