Ciao, sono Jacky. Per anni ho lavorato come ingegnere informatico, parlando il linguaggio logico del codice. Ma in fondo, ho sempre sentito una chiamata più forte: il richiamo dei sentieri, il sussurro degli alberi secolari e le storie incise nelle pietre della mia città natale, Hangzhou. Il mio passaggio da dietro uno schermo a guidare sui sentieri non è stato solo un cambio di carriera; è stato un ritorno a casa. Ho capito che Hangzhou è molto più di un "paradiso in terra" da cartolina. È un capolavoro vivente e pulsante, dove ogni collina, tempio e campo di tè ha un'anima. La città è come un software perfetto, ma scritto dalla natura e dalla storia, con il Lago dell'Ovest come splendida interfaccia utente e le montagne e i templi circostanti come la sua profonda e potente base di codice. Ho deciso di guidare tour gratuiti perché credo che il modo migliore per vivere Hangzhou non sia attraverso un itinerario rigido, ma attraverso una connessione autentica. Voglio condividere con voi la mia Hangzhou: i luoghi segreti lontani dalla folla, le leggende locali che non troverete nelle guide turistiche e la pace profonda che si può trovare su un sentiero tranquillo. Come ex ingegnere, apprezzo l'efficienza e il valore, quindi il mio obiettivo è offrirvi un'esperienza indimenticabile e profondamente personale, che abbia un valore inestimabile, ma la cui partecipazione è gratuita. I had the privilege to be the only one guided by Wen. He told me all about the village history and we had nice insightful and enriching discussion along the way. I'm glad that I chose him and I'm sure that everyone else will be glad too.
This was one of the highlights of our time in Hangzhou. The hike through the tea villages and hidden trails was stunning, with beautiful tea plantations that were perfect for photography. It felt very authentic and not something we would have found on our own. We made a mistake with the Didi drop-off location and arrived about 2 hours late, but the guide was incredibly understanding and communicative. They kept in touch, helped direct us to the right spot, and adjusted the plan so we could still fully enjoy the experience without feeling rushed. Along the way, we learned a lot about tea culture, had some really nice conversations with locals, and enjoyed a delicious chicken soup for lunch. Overall, a well-organized and memorable experience. Highly recommended!
Jacky has enough knowledge of what he was talking about, brought us to good places to eat for lunch. Would recommend him to friends and family.
This tour was great! We took a hiking path through the tea fields that I would never have been able to find on my own and Daniel was a great guide giving me a lot of information about everything we were seeing and he also spoke great English! Thanks a lot!
I have to thank Jacky because he gave me full flexibility to choose the day even if I was going to be the only guest. He is prepared with diagrams that explain some basics in Buddhism and he knows exactly where to take you to see the best natural spots of Hangzhou. He is a remarkable guide and I would always choose him for a hiking tour.
