We had a fantastic experience with Javier as our GuruWalk guide for the Panama downtown walking tour. He brought the city to life with his storytelling, especially his fun “gossip-style” snippets that made the history feel personal and memorable. I also loved how he drew comparisons to Game of Thrones, it added such a unique and entertaining twist to the tour! Javier is clearly passionate, knowledgeable, and engaging, and he kept us interested throughout. We truly enjoyed every moment of the walk. The only area for improvement would be around his recommendations. He pointed out some great spots for ice cream, lunch, and local eats, but instead of taking us there or pausing briefly, he would gesture toward the street and continue the tour. It would have been even better to stop at one or two of those places or build in a short break so we could experience them firsthand. Overall, a wonderful and memorable tour. Highly recommend Javier if you’re exploring Panama City!
