Very nice tour with Laura, who is a great guide. She knows a lot about architecture and design, told us a lot of interesting facts and also answered questions about Helsinki, which were not directly related to the tour‘s topic.

Understanding the evolution of Helsinki's history through architecture and design without much person study would have been so difficult if not for this tour! The details and intricacies Laura shared during our tour were fascinating. I was already a fan of Helsinki but this tour increased my interest in the history, it's people and what else I can learn from walking down each new street. The tour includes a good amount of walking but the 2.5 hours flies by. Highly recommend!

This was the second walking tour I did in Helsinki. They were very different in terms of focus, places visited and information shared. I really appreciated this. Johnny was excellent and interesting. I highly recommend this tour.

I was thinking to have an orientation of the city before starting my own exploration and yet I got much more from Laura. She is an knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. The route plan was great. Highly recommended.

The tour was a lot of fun, and I learned a ton. Laura was extremely knowledgeable and she had a very good way of explaining things and pointing out stuff that wasn’t in the books I read before coming here. Plus she has a great personality and is interesting to talk to. I will recommend this tour to anyone who visits Helsinki.

This was a wonderful tour around Helsinki with unique story telling centered around architecture. Laura is passionate about her heritage, extremely engaging and so charismatic - there was never a dull moment learning about Helsinki with her. It was a perfect autumn day with radiant sunshine which enriched the tour. We highly recommend this as it’s a different to your traditional historic linear timeline walking tour.

Da wir am Vortag den Walk über die GeschichteFinnlands mitgemacht haben, gab es einzelne Überschneidung. Insgesamt war die Tour sehr informativ und empfehlenswert.

An excellent variety of old buildings, architecture and poets/history. Lauri has a passion for the subject and weaves the history and architectural details into a lovely and authoritative commentary. We learnt so much and really enjoyed the tour. Highly recommended.

He tomado muchos Toures y hace mucho tiempo no encontraba un tour tan entretenido, cada spot e información se va entretegiendo y vas entendiendo la historia y la ciudad, la verdad uno de los mejores tours.

Johnny provided excellent, detailed information, in an approachable manner. The itinerary was well designed to give solid design, architectural, political & historical context and he made it fun. If we had time, we'd definitely do his history & politics tour.

What an absolute legend of a guide. So knowledgeable, funny, friendly, and in love with a city he moved to, but now calls his home. Locals are very great, and transmit a certain type of feeling to the guests, but seeing and feeling his love for this city was something special.

Laura was an excellent guide, very well prepared and articulate. I liked the way she illustrated the connections between city architecture, history and art. The tour lasted the full 2:30 hours and moved at a good clip. Highly recommend.
