A really great tour to explore San José! Jules takes you around and tells you nice stories and fun facts about the city and the country. A really really really recommendation!

Fue excelente, muy dinámico, ameno, divertido. Cargado de anécdotas. Las 3 horas de tour pasaron muy rápidas.

A great afternoon with Jules giving us plenty of information about San Jose (Costa Rica). Surprises along the way, history of Costa Rica, current events, tips on where to eat, which museums to go to, plenty of photo opportunities. I'm leaving with some trivia and facts about Costa Rica to add to the many GuruWalk walking tours that we've done across the world.

We had a wonderful experience joining the Free Tour through San Jose with Jules. He knew a lot about the city that you don't find on the internet, taught us to look more closely to the things you would normally overlook. He had some extra surprises during the walk, which made it even more enjoyable. Because he of Jules' enthusiasm, the tour lasted a bit longer than expected.

This was our fifth visit to Costa Rica, but our first foray into San Jose. We had come to believe, through YouTube videos and tourist groups, was a littered, loud, unappealing city. Our Guru, Jules, completely turned that around. At a leisurely pace we made a big circle through the parks and neighborhoods, making some thoughtful, well-curated stops along the way. Jules was generous with his knowledge and his time, really exemplifying the welcoming nature of the country itself. We highly recommend this tour as a starting point for your San Jose exploring.

Jules was simply the best guru walk guide EVER! I've done these in multiple countries over the years and Jules was by far the BEST! He is extremely knowledgeable and his trusty binder of amazing facts and pictures was great for visual learners like me. He also know related random trivia that made the walk very entertaining. Jules is as kind as he is knowledgeable. Not only do you get a historical tour but there are some really nice surprises and treats along the way. The three and a half hour tour seems short and leaves you wanting more because he's just that great!!! Five stars...two thumbs up.... you don't want to miss this tour!!!!
